Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) When Cristiano Baptista came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Amendoa FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristiano Baptista couldn't finish the play. Sérgio Tavares recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sérgio Tavares in the 12th minute of play forced Amendoa FC's goalkeeper José Cruz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Sérgio Tavares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Humberto Amorim charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Bento Fernandes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastião Santos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half Serrazina FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Serrazina FC's Bento Fernandes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristiano Baptista in the 52nd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jorge Assis during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 60 played minutes Serrazina FC got a freekick which was hit by Jorge Assis. In the 62nd minute Amendoa FC were awarded a corner. Eusébio Leal went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Eusébio Leal almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Serrazina FC's Bento Fernandes did a great save. In the 66th minute Sérgio Tavares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Cruz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bento Fernandes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastião Santos, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Sérgio Tavares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Cruz having to interfere. José Cruz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sérgio Tavares in the 95th minute of play. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
