Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Chocas's Vítor Cardoso started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 8th minute, Sebastião Araújo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 13th minute of the match, Vítor Cardoso tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Miguel Vaz saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Afonso Sousa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Miguel Vaz having to make a save. In the 20th minute Lourenço Coelho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorge Pinto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cardanha FC's Lourenço Coelho got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 23rd minute of the game. One of Chocas:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Cardanha FC:s goal. With a little luck, Cardanha FC's Miguel Vaz got control of the ball when Afonso Sousa tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cardanha FC's Sebastião Araújo managed to work through Chocas's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Sebastião Araújo dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. If Sebastião Araújo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pedro Resende during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Pedro Resende hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Lourenço Coelho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Pinto having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Miguel Vaz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Afonso Sousa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pedro Resende sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 60 minutes, Lourenço Coelho made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Chocas's Jorge Pinto tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 64 minutes into the game, Domingos Delgado was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cardanha FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chocas the free kick. Domingos Delgado kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Jorge Pinto was a little too slow when Sebastião Araújo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 67th minute. The score was now 0-3. 71 minutes into the match, Chocas's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastião Araújo came free, but Jorge Pinto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 72nd match minute, Cardanha FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by António Lopes to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Cardanha FC's José Leão got a free kick in the 80th minute. Pedro Resende was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. In the 83rd match minute, Chocas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Resende to maneuver through the defense. Miguel Vaz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Afonso Sousa in the 85th minute of the match. If Afonso Sousa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cardanha FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
