Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when José Lima took the kick off in the first half of the match. After taking down the ball on Rines FC's corner Afonso Moutinho fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Filipe Baptista quite easily take care of the ball. Artur Castro was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 10 minutes into the match. The referee gave Murfacem FC a penalty, 12 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by André Neto, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Rines FC's Vicente Amaral. 0-1. After 17 minutes, Alexandre Cruz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rines FC and the Murfacem FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 19th minute, Heitor Sá got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Heitor Sá's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vicente Amaral was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. Carlos Branco struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Vicente Amaral didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Murfacem FC. After 26 played minutes Rines FC got a freekick which was hit by Afonso Moutinho. Basílio Figueiredo hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Rines FC's Vicente Amaral played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Heitor Sá in the 36th minute of play. Vicente Amaral didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Carlos Branco went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. A hard shot 43 in the game by Basílio Figueiredo from a close distance when the talented Filipe Baptista managed to make a qualified save. Murfacem FC's players were relieved. In the 45th minute, Carlos Branco ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vicente Amaral was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Carlos Branco made a kick off. In the 51st minute, Basílio Figueiredo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Raul Dias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Filipe Baptista tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Carlos Branco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Murfacem FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Carlos Branco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vicente Amaral breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 67th match minute, Murfacem FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nuno Mota to maneuver through the defense. In the 68th minute of the match Afonso Moutinho sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Filipe Baptista skillfully saved the ball. Carlos Branco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vicente Amaral having to interfere. Vicente Amaral made an important save on a dangerous shot by Heitor Sá in the 76th minute. 80 minutes into the game, Murfacem FC's Carlos Branco nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vicente Amaral made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Murfacem FC's Filipe Baptista played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexandre Cruz in the 89th minute of play. 91 minutes had been played when some careless play by Murfacem FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Afonso Moutinho was slow to take the kick. During this time Rines FC's players had a chance to rest. Murfacem FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
