After a rather tough play, Torrados's Cristiano Santos got a free kick in the 27th minute. In the 31st minute Basílio Carneiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cândido Leão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. SC Salsas's Cândido Leão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emílio Leal in the 33rd minute of play. Cândido Leão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emílio Leal in the 37th minute of play. Augusto Barros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Duarte Morais in the 45th minute of the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Basílio Carneiro made a kick off. Luís Correia hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Cristiano Santos was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 66th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Cândido Leão didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Emílio Leal went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. In the 79th minute, Emílio Leal ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cândido Leão was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Basílio Carneiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cândido Leão having to interfere. André Moura kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match.
