Olaia FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Afonso Valente ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Afonso Valente almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Olaia FC's Daniel Santarém did a great save. The supporters of Olaia FC booed when Aramenha FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. André Domingues didn't get a good kick on the ball. Daniel Santarém took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cláudio Abreu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aramenha FC's Xavier Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucas Pinho in the 15th minute of play. When Rui Azevedo fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Aramenha FC's protests and gave Rui Azevedo a yellow card for diving instead. Alfredo Pinho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 29 played minutes Cláudio Abreu rounded Olaia FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-1. 33 minutes into the match, Lucas Pinho notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Aramenha FC's Xavier Amorim. After having played for 72 minutes, André Domingues managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Aramenha FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but André Domingues was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sérgio Paiva took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 78th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Xavier Amorim. Aramenha FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by André Domingues in the 82nd minute of play forced Olaia FC's goalkeeper Daniel Santarém to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 86 minutes into the match, Olaia FC's Lucas Pinho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Xavier Amorim narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Olaia FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
