After recieving a nice pass, Aramenha FC's Afonso Valente tried to score from far away in the 8th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. If Afonso Lisboa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rui Azevedo hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. In the 25th match minute, Aramenha FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Afonso Valente to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 27 minutes, Eusébio Paredes put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Xavier Amorim. After 33 minutes, Simão Anjos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Aramenha FC and the Valdigem FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Valdigem FC booed when Aramenha FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Simão Anjos didn't get a good kick on the ball. 35 minutes into the game, Afonso Lisboa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Xavier Amorim was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Aramenha FC's Xavier Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eusébio Paredes in the 42nd minute of play. In the 46th minute of the match, Eusébio Paredes tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Xavier Amorim saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line.

Afonso Lisboa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xavier Amorim having to interfere. Afonso Lisboa struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Xavier Amorim didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Valdigem FC. If André Domingues had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Valdigem FC's Sandro Assis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cláudio Abreu in the 62nd minute of play. Valdigem FC's Sandro Assis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Valdigem FC from getting a goal against them. 65 minutes into the game, Mariano Cunha was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Aramenha FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Valdigem FC the free kick. Xavier Amorim came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by Valdigem FC's Afonso Lisboa. But to his dismay, Afonso Lisboa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. 71 minutes into the match, Eusébio Paredes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Xavier Amorim. Aramenha FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eusébio Paredes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. With a little luck, Valdigem FC's Sandro Assis got control of the ball when André Domingues tried to sneak it across the goal line. André Domingues recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aramenha FC's André Domingues got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Aramenha FC's Xavier Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eusébio Paredes in the 88th minute of play. Cláudio Abreu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Sandro Assis made a huge save. When Vicente Fonseca fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Valdigem FC's protests and gave Vicente Fonseca a yellow card for diving instead. In the 91st match minute, Valdigem FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vicente Fonseca to maneuver through the defense. In the 94th minute Aramenha FC were awarded a corner. Afonso Valente went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Aramenha FC's corner Afonso Valente fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Sandro Assis quite easily take care of the ball. 96 minutes into the match, Valdigem FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cláudio Abreu came free, but Sandro Assis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Valdigem FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Aramenha FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
