The corner led Babau's Raul Gueifão to fire away a dangerous shot which Pedro Pinto despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Xavier Azevedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 62nd minute, Xavier Azevedo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 97th minute, Jacinto Carvalho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Burreiros FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
