Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Alfredo Domingues started the match with the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alfredo Domingues in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alexandre Trindade prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 10 minutes into the match, Humberto Moura had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Raul Viana. SC Landim's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Humberto Moura was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. If Humberto Moura had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alfredo Domingues received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Alexandre Trindade tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Humberto Vaz got free with Alexandre Trindade in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Humberto Moura received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Raul Viana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 30 minutes into the match, SC Landim's Humberto Vaz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alexandre Trindade narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 37 minutes into the match, Runa's goal looked a bit too open when Alfredo Domingues came free, but Alexandre Trindade reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Oliveira Jesus's late challenge caught a SC Landim's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Oliveira Jesus helped the player get up and apologised. After 39 played minutes Runa got a freekick which was hit by Oliveira Jesus. Alfredo Domingues sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Humberto Borges kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. In the 45th minute, Humberto Moura ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Raul Viana was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Luís Alves made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Runa's Luís Freitas got a free kick in the 51st minute. In the 66th minute Alfredo Domingues shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexandre Trindade saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luís Alves's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Raul Viana read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. In the 69th minute, Runa's Luís Alves ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Raul Viana. Raul Viana yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. Alfredo Domingues received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Alexandre Trindade tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cristiano Vieira during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Runa's supporters rose to their feet, but Luís Alves was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Raul Viana breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Oliveira Neto kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Runa's Oliveira Jesus pulled a muscle in his back after 81 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 81 minutes, Américo Costa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Landim and the Runa players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, SC Landim's Américo Costa got a free kick in the 82nd minute. José Paredes took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 83rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Raul Viana. SC Landim's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Humberto Moura received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Raul Viana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. SC Landim's Raul Viana proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save SC Landim from getting a goal against them. Runa's Alexandre Trindade played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Humberto Vaz in the 96th minute of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Runa eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
