With a left leg Alfredo Monteiro saved Cheira FC from getting behind. 29 minutes into the match, Cheira FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gonçalo Gueifão came free, but Alfredo Monteiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Gonçalo Gueifão came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Gional FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gonçalo Gueifão couldn't finish the play. Alfredo Monteiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gonçalo Gueifão in the 37th minute of play. After some careless play in the Cheira FC defense, Rafael Faria kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alfredo Monteiro. The Cheira FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alfredo Monteiro should have stopped the shot. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rafael Faria made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Cheira FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rafael Faria came free, but Alfredo Monteiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alfredo Monteiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafael Faria, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With 75 minutes on the clock, Gil Pires commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 75 minutes into the game, one of Gional FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Manuel Ribeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
