Rogério Moniz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Gueifão having to interfere. 16 minutes into the match, Joaquim Mendes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bruno Anjos. SC Amendoeira's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Joaquim Mendes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Simão Paredes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Bruno Anjos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 27th minute, Rogério Moniz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. José Gueifão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Borba in the 28th minute of the match. Bruno Anjos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Simão Paredes in the 30th minute of the match. Lucas Miranda's late challenge caught a Zambujeira FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The goalkeeper, Bruno Anjos, was totally fooled by Zambujeira FC's Armando Henriques, who 45 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 51st minute Augusto Jesus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Anjos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 56 minutes, Rogério Moniz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Amendoeira and the Zambujeira FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, SC Amendoeira's Rogério Moniz got a free kick in the 56th minute. A collision led to SC Amendoeira getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Lucas Miranda hit a great ball. Simão Paredes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, SC Amendoeira's José Vale got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Joaquim Mendes scored 3-0 in the 64th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bruno Anjos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. José Gueifão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Júlio Setúbal, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. José Gueifão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Borba in the 69th minute of play. Carlos Borba might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over José Gueifão. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Carlos Borba ran back to his position shaking his head. José Gueifão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Borba, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 77 minutes, José Gueifão successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Joaquim Mendes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Bruno Anjos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to SC Amendoeira getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Hugo Porto hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in SC Amendoeira's zone, Simão Paredes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bruno Anjos came out of the goal and Simão Paredes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. José Gueifão made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rogério Moniz in the 94th minute. SC Amendoeira's Bruno Anjos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Simão Paredes in the 95th minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Zambujeira FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while SC Amendoeira had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
