Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when António Porto got the match started through his kick off. Brunhais's Carlos Assunção played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Heitor Cunha in the 4th minute of play. In the 5th match minute, Brunhais was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amílcar Guerreiro to maneuver through the defense. In the 5th minute, one of Brunhais:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Brunhais. Gonçalo Viegas struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Carlos Assunção didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Arrentela. In the 12thth minute of the game Lúcio Assunção who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Brunhais's Carlos Assunção was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 16 minutes, Gonçalo Viegas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Arrentela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gonçalo Viegas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lúcio Assunção fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Assunção having to interfere. Carlos Assunção showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lúcio Assunção, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. António Porto struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Vítor Barros didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Brunhais. Lúcio Assunção received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Carlos Assunção tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gonçalo Viegas in the 43rd minute of play forced Brunhais's goalkeeper Carlos Assunção to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If António Porto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half SC Arrentela were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After a defensive mix-up in Brunhais's zone, Lúcio Assunção stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carlos Assunção came out of the goal and Lúcio Assunção tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 59 minutes into the match, Brunhais's goal looked a bit too open when Lúcio Assunção came free, but Carlos Assunção reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Arrentela's goalkeeper Vítor Barros, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a little luck, Brunhais's Carlos Assunção got control of the ball when Gonçalo Viegas tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cristiano Sousa hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. António Porto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Vítor Barros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 94th minute of the match José Leal sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Vítor Barros skillfully saved the ball. If António Porto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched SC Arrentela eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
