Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Jaime Lisboa kicked off to start the match. After a rather tough play, Cogula's Bernardo Alves got a free kick in the 8th minute. Carlos Gaspar's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but José Cabral firmly grabbed it by the left post. Carlos Gaspar was extremely unlucky when he, in the 15th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Cogula's José Cabral played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jaime Lisboa in the 16th minute of play. When Vítor Aleixo fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Grandacos FC's protests and gave Vítor Aleixo a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Grandacos FC getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Vítor Aleixo hit a great ball. José Cabral made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jaime Lisboa in the 23rd minute of play. Carlos Gaspar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Cabral having to interfere. Carlos Gaspar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 33rd minute Luís Garcia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sandro Santos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 35thth minute of the game Cândido Queirós who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Grandacos FC's Sandro Santos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sandro Santos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Garcia, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cândido Queirós to make the kick off. Carlos Gaspar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. José Cabral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 55th minute, Jaime Lisboa made a precise shot to the right of José Cabral. Cogula's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. 60 minutes into the match, Cogula's goal looked a bit too open when Vítor Aleixo came free, but José Cabral reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luís Garcia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Cogula's Cândido Queirós in the 71st minute got a chance for a shot 71st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Grandacos FC's goalie prevented a goal. Cândido Queirós sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cândido Queirós might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sandro Santos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cândido Queirós ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of Cogula booed when Grandacos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jaime Lisboa didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Cogula defense, Carlos Gaspar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of José Cabral. The Cogula fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that José Cabral should have stopped the shot. In the 90th minute, Luís Garcia left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cogula fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Grandacos FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Cogula for a fine match.
