Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Jaime Lisboa kicked off to start the match. After having played for 6 minutes, Carlos Gaspar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Grandacos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carlos Gaspar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Carlos Gaspar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A nice corner shot did that Xavier Moreira got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Afonso Miranda quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When Grandacos FC's Carlos Gaspar in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Montes's goalie prevented a goal. Afonso Miranda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Gaspar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vítor Aleixo during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 24 played minutes Grandacos FC got a freekick which was hit by Vítor Aleixo. André Coimbra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Sandro Santos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Afonso Miranda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Gaspar in the 28th minute of the match. Grandacos FC's Jaime Lisboa got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Carlos Gaspar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sandro Santos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from André Coimbra went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. André Coimbra recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 46th minute Jorge Valente shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sandro Santos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vítor Aleixo hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. André Coimbra blasted a shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sandro Santos having to make a save. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jorge Valente to strike the kick off in the second half. Jorge Valente sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carlos Gaspar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Afonso Miranda having to interfere. Jorge Valente received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Sandro Santos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 70th minute, Hélder Martins hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 71st minute of the match Alexandre Santarém sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sandro Santos skillfully saved the ball. 72 minutes into the game, Jorge Valente cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Sandro Santos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Through an outstanding action, after 79 minutes, Afonso Miranda successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 82nd minute Jaime Lisboa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Afonso Miranda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 85 minutes into the game, Rui Rodrigues was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Montes's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Grandacos FC the free kick. The supporters of Grandacos FC booed when Montes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rui Rodrigues didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Montes getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Rogério Moura hit a great ball. Montes's Afonso Miranda proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Montes from getting a goal against them. Afonso Miranda was out of position in the 92 minute of play, and Jaime Lisboa capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jaime Lisboa really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. After 96 minutes, Ricardo Matias mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Montes and the Grandacos FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Montes's Ricardo Matias got a free kick in the 96th minute. The Montes players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
