Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Manuel Torres started the match with the kick off. 1-0 became the score in the 3rd minute when Manuel Anjos elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. If Manuel Torres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carvalheiros's defense didn't have a chance, in the 9th minute, when José Barbosa scored to the left of an out of position Manuel Borges, making the score, 2-0. Manuel Anjos kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Manuel Borges made an important save on a dangerous shot by Manuel Anjos in the 14th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Abel Santarém during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Boxinos booed when Carvalheiros was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abel Santarém didn't get a good kick on the ball. Manuel Borges made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Barbosa in the 15th minute of play. In the 19thth minute of the game Rui Coimbra who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Boxinos's Afonso Cunha was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Manuel Anjos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Manuel Borges tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Manuel Anjos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Manuel Borges took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from José Barbosa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 33rd minute Rui Coimbra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Afonso Cunha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Rui Coimbra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 39 minutes into the match, Boxinos's goal looked a bit too open when João Veiga came free, but Afonso Cunha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 43 minutes into the match, Rui Coimbra notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Boxinos's Afonso Cunha. Afonso Cunha was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Manuel Anjos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Borges having to interfere. The corner led Carvalheiros's João Veiga to fire away a dangerous shot which Afonso Cunha despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind Boxinos's goalkeeper Afonso Cunha, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Rui Coimbra came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Carvalheiros fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rui Coimbra couldn't finish the play. If Manuel Torres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rui Coimbra was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 64th minute. Carvalheiros's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After a rather tough play, Boxinos's Vicente Paredes got a free kick in the 66th minute. Manuel Borges took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from José Barbosa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Manuel Anjos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 80 minutes into the match, Carvalheiros's goal looked a bit too open when José Barbosa came free, but Manuel Borges reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 84 minutes into the match, Boxinos's goalkeeper Afonso Cunha had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rui Coimbra. When Manuel Torres came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Carvalheiros fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Manuel Torres couldn't finish the play. After 92 minutes, Rui Silva mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Carvalheiros and the Boxinos players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 92nd minute, Rui Silva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by José Barbosa in the 93rd minute of play forced Carvalheiros's goalkeeper Manuel Borges to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind Carvalheiros's goalkeeper Manuel Borges, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
