Manuel Borges made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Adolfo Leão stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 57 minutes, Adolfo Leão managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rui Coimbra scored 1-3 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fernando Domingues, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Francisco Mota hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. João Veiga struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Fernando Domingues didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Carvalheiros. 90 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Carvalheiros's Manuel Torres fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. The Carvalheiros supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Picotos FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Picotos FC.
