Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Raul Magalhães kicked off to start the match. Albertino Trindade hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. In the 5th match minute, Boxinos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diogo Lisboa to maneuver through the defense. Cristiano Leite hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. David Amorim could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Afonso Cunha made a huge save. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 13th minute, but Afonso Cunha got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Boxinos hanging dry this time. After 14 played minutes Boxinos got a freekick which was hit by Diogo Lisboa. The Saldonha FC fans' excitement grew in the 21st match minute when Saldonha FC's David Amorim looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Delfim Santos kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Raul Magalhães struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Afonso Cunha didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Saldonha FC. In the 28th minute Raul Magalhães shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Afonso Cunha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 30th minute, Luís Rocha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. José Barbosa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Carlos Nunes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 36th minute, José Barbosa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 44th minute, Manuel Anjos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and José Barbosa made a kick off. Carlos Nunes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Barbosa in the 55th minute of play. David Amorim might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Afonso Cunha. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. David Amorim ran back to his position shaking his head. After 58 minutes, Diogo Lisboa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Boxinos and the Saldonha FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 58th match minute, Boxinos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diogo Lisboa to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, David Amorim managed to get in a good position for a shot. Saldonha FC's supporters rose to their feet, but David Amorim was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Afonso Cunha breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Afonso Cunha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Amorim in the 64th minute of play. José Barbosa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Nunes having to interfere. Raul Magalhães blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Afonso Cunha having to make a save. Carlos Nunes made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Manuel Anjos sent off a good shot on target. José Barbosa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Carlos Nunes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. José Barbosa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Raul Magalhães had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 93rd minute, Boxinos's Manuel Anjos ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Carlos Nunes. Carlos Nunes yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. Boxinos's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
