Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Álvaro Cabral made the kick off and thus started the match. Delfim Cunha made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 3rdth minute coming free in front of the goal, but André Guarda would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. When the match had gone on for 3 minutes, Delfim Cunha put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of André Guarda. Artur Silva's late challenge caught a Cavaleira's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Artur Silva helped the player get up and apologised. Artur Silva hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Delfim Cunha got free with André Guarda in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. António Correia's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gil Branco read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Álvaro Cabral in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gil Branco saved Galifonge FC from getting behind. Cavaleira's Álvaro Cabral got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Galifonge FC's zone, António Correia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gil Branco came out of the goal and António Correia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Paulo Mota during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 32nd match minute, Cavaleira was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulo Mota to maneuver through the defense. Nuno Valente recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nuno Valente who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 38thth minute tested the skills of André Guarda when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With his leg André Guarda managed to avoid a goal in the 39thth minute, when Galifonge FC's Delfim Cunha fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 44th minute Álvaro Cabral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gil Branco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. André Guarda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nuno Valente in the 46th minute of the match. João Monteiro kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nuno Valente made a kick off. In the 61st minute, Cavaleira's Álvaro Cabral ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gil Branco. Gil Branco yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. Gil Branco was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from João Monteiro. After 72 played minutes Galifonge FC got a freekick which was hit by Cândido Brito. Nuno Valente fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without André Guarda having to interfere. Delfim Cunha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Nuno Valente had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nuno Valente received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. André Guarda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 85 minutes into the game, Manuel Coelho was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cavaleira's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Galifonge FC the free kick. Manuel Coelho kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. André Guarda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nuno Valente, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Nuno Valente came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Galifonge FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nuno Valente couldn't finish the play. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
