But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Oliveira Silva couldn't finish the play. Henrique Ribeiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oliveira Silva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bolhos FC's Ricardo Aguiar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Bolhos FC from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Bolhos FC's Rui Ferreira got a free kick in the 19th minute. Bolhos FC's Ricardo Aguiar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Armindo Barros in the 21st minute of play. After some careless play in the SC Creacao defense, Oliveira Silva kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Henrique Ribeiro. The SC Creacao fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Henrique Ribeiro should have stopped the shot. After having played for 33 minutes, Oliveira Silva managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bolhos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Oliveira Silva was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Armindo Barros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardo Aguiar having to interfere. In the 41st minute, André Tavares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ricardo Aguiar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Armindo Barros in the 43rd minute of play. Raul Viana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cláudio Amaral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Ricardo Aguiar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In the 53rd minute, Cláudio Amaral hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 63rd minute Oliveira Silva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henrique Ribeiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, SC Creacao's Simão Barbosa got a free kick in the 64th minute. After 65 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for SC Creacao! Henrique Ribeiro had in the 67thth minute some difficulties stopping João Paredes's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Raul Viana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henrique Ribeiro having to interfere. Rui Ferreira kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in SC Creacao's zone, Oliveira Silva stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Henrique Ribeiro came out of the goal and Oliveira Silva tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ricardo Aguiar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Armindo Barros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Armindo Barros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardo Aguiar having to interfere. SC Creacao's Armindo Barros got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 87 played minutes SC Creacao got a freekick which was hit by Simão Barbosa. The audience was convinced that Oliveira Silva's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Henrique Ribeiro was relentless in the 91st minute of the game. After 93 played minutes Bolhos FC got a freekick which was hit by Rui Ferreira. A collision led to Bolhos FC getting a freekick after 98 minutes play. André Tavares hit a great ball. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
