In the 2nd match minute, Moitelas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by José Oliveira to maneuver through the defense. Raul Viana was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 16th minute. Bolhos FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Bolhos FC's Ricardo Aguiar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tiago Amaral in the 19th minute of play. Rui Resende showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oliveira Silva in the 22nd minute of the match. Jaime Coimbra kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. A collision led to Bolhos FC getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. André Tavares hit a great ball. António Alves, 29 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers José Oliveira in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ricardo Aguiar saved Bolhos FC from getting behind. Raul Viana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 45 minutes, Raul Viana managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bolhos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Raul Viana was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Oliveira Silva stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Raul Viana notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Moitelas FC's Rui Resende. Rui Resende was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. José Oliveira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 61st minute Raul Viana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rui Resende saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. José Oliveira charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed José Oliveira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Bolhos FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
