Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Sebastião Borges took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rd minute Armando Lopes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but António Vieira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alexandre Barros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Álvaro Figueiredo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Álvaro Maia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alexandre Barros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Álvaro Figueiredo in the 15th minute of the match. Álvaro Maia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. António Vieira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alexandre Barros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Delfim Pires in the 30th minute of play. Alexandre Barros stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Delfim Pires's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. SC Redouca's Delfim Pires got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Albertino Matos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Delfim Pires made a kick off. After 57 minutes, Rogério Jesus mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Redouca and the Mandim players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 57th minute, Rogério Jesus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Delfim Tavares during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Mandim's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
