A collision led to Boxinos FC getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Nuno Lopes hit a great ball. Afonso Faro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafael Oliveira having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Boxinos FC's zone, Rui Borba stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rafael Oliveira came out of the goal and Rui Borba tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 1-1 became the score in the 28th minute when Afonso Faro elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. If Afonso Faro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Boxinos FC's Rafael Oliveira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Afonso Faro in the 36th minute of play. Rafael Oliveira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Afonso Faro, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Cândido Pintos short, quick shot in the 44thth minute got Paulo Queirós to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Rui Borba sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Afonso Faro's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 53rdth minute, Rafael Oliveira skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When Joaquim Neto fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Boxinos FC's protests and gave Joaquim Neto a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Boxinos FC's Joaquim Neto got a free kick in the 54th minute. The supporters of Boxinos FC booed when SC Antas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rui Borba didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rui Borba recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rafael Oliveira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rui Borba, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. In the 60th match minute, Boxinos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nuno Lopes to maneuver through the defense. 65 minutes into the match, Boxinos FC's goalkeeper Rafael Oliveira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Afonso Faro. 66 minutes into the match, Boxinos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rui Borba came free, but Rafael Oliveira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cândido Pinto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Boxinos FC booed when SC Antas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alberto Soares didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cândido Pinto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, SC Antas's Rui Borba got a free kick in the 88th minute. 91 minutes into the match, Cândido Pinto notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of SC Antas's Paulo Queirós. Paulo Queirós was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Paulo Queirós took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cândido Pinto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Boxinos FC support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
