An unexpectedly hard shot by Gil Silva in the 3rd minute of play forced SC Agordela's goalkeeper Xavier Assis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Gil Silva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 8th minute, Alfredo Nogueira made a precise shot to the right of Heitor Monteiro. Renda's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 14 minutes into the match, Renda's goal looked a bit too open when Catarino Fonseca came free, but Heitor Monteiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Cristóvão Brás fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Agordela's protests and gave Cristóvão Brás a yellow card for diving instead. In the 16th minute, Cristóvão Brás hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cristiano Pereira during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in SC Agordela fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 17th minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Xavier Assis, was totally fooled by Renda's Joaquim Rodrigues, who 19 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. In the 26th minute, Alfredo Nogueira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 30th minute, Alfredo Nogueira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 34th minute, Renda's Gil Silva ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Xavier Assis. Xavier Assis yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. Catarino Fonseca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Heitor Monteiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfredo Nogueira in the 43rd minute of the match. Bernardo Magalhães hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Renda fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 46th minute. Penalty! In the 47th minute there was a penalty for SC Agordela. Cristiano Pereira stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Heitor Monteiro. 2-2. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alfredo Nogueira stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 55 minutes, Alfredo Amaro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Agordela and the Renda players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, SC Agordela's Alfredo Amaro got a free kick in the 55th minute. Renda's Joaquim Rodrigues couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 56th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for SC Agordela. Paulo Santos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Xavier Assis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Paulo Santos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 67 minutes into the match, SC Agordela's goal looked a bit too open when Gil Silva came free, but Xavier Assis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 68th minute, Hugo Mendes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Heitor Monteiro was out of position in the 74 minute of play, and Alfredo Nogueira capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Alfredo Nogueira really showed his touch with that goal: 2-3. 79 minutes into the match, Manuel Paredes notched a goal, 3-3, to the right of SC Agordela's Xavier Assis. Xavier Assis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 82nd play minute Catarino Fonseca came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Heitor Monteiro. 3-4. Heitor Monteiro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Catarino Fonseca in the 90th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Humberto Coelho during the 97th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 97 played minutes SC Agordela got a freekick which was hit by Humberto Coelho.
