A collision led to Meimao getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Rui Monteiro hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by André Macedo in the 12th minute of play forced Meimao's goalkeeper Cristóvão Monteiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pedro Porto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Cristóvão Monteiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cláudio Moniz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Filipe Resende had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lisei FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Filipe Resende was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. André Macedo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cristóvão Monteiro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. After having played for 33 minutes, Cláudio Moniz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Meimao's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cláudio Moniz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Filipe Resende sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 40 minutes into the match, Lisei FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cláudio Moniz came free, but Miguel Nascimento reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 41st minute, Filipe Resende got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Meimao's Rui Monteiro got a free kick in the 44th minute. Pedro Porto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The wind increased when André Macedo made the kick off in the second half. If Filipe Resende had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 60th match minute, Lisei FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vítor Magalhães to maneuver through the defense. Cristóvão Monteiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Porto in the 62nd minute of play. An unexpected shot in the 64th minute by Filipe Resende got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After 68 played minutes Lisei FC got a freekick which was hit by Viriato Luz. Cristóvão Monteiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from André Macedo in the 70th minute of the match. Filipe Resende struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Miguel Nascimento didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Meimao. After 73 minutes, Alexandre Correia mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lisei FC and the Meimao players grew even worse after the yellow card. When Filipe Resende came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Meimao fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Filipe Resende couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cândido Queirós got free with Miguel Nascimento in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 81st minute, Pedro Porto made a precise shot to the right of Cristóvão Monteiro. Meimao's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Cristóvão Monteiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedro Porto, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute.
