Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Cristiano Sá got the match started through his kick off. 6 minutes into the match, Milheiros's goal looked a bit too open when Amílcar Mendes came free, but Alexandre Santarém reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Amílcar Mendes struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Alexandre Santarém didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Sambade. 12 minutes into the match, Milheiros's Cristiano Sá sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Diamantino Moniz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Pedro Moura managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Sambade's supporters rose to their feet, but Pedro Moura was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alexandre Santarém breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Diamantino Moniz made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Sandro Esteves sent off a good shot on target. With an all-out effort, Milheiros's Diamantino Moniz threw himself towards the right post 18 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Cristiano Sá, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Amílcar Mendes in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alexandre Santarém prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Sandro Esteves came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Milheiros fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sandro Esteves couldn't finish the play. Basílio Luz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexandre Santarém having to interfere. In the 36th minute, Amílcar Mendes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 37th match minute, Milheiros was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Antunes to maneuver through the defense. Milheiros's Alexandre Santarém played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amílcar Mendes in the 43rd minute of play. In the 46th minute, Sandro Esteves left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Milheiros fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Amílcar Mendes made a kick off. Diamantino Moniz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cristiano Sá's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. Milheiros's Alexandre Santarém proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Milheiros from getting a goal against them. Amílcar Mendes's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 56thth minute, Alexandre Santarém skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When the match had gone on for 60 minutes, Cristiano Sá put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Diamantino Moniz. Diamantino Moniz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sandro Esteves in the 64th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sandro Esteves in the 65th minute of play forced SC Sambade's goalkeeper Diamantino Moniz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Sambade's goalkeeper Diamantino Moniz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Pedro Moura sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. After some careless play in the SC Sambade defense, Cristiano Sá kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Diamantino Moniz. The SC Sambade fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Diamantino Moniz should have stopped the shot. When the match had gone on for 94 minutes, Amílcar Mendes took a quick shot and it went in 4-3 without a chance for Alexandre Santarém to make any attempt to save it.
