Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Júlio Pereira kicked off to start the match. Júlio Pereira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Armindo Jesus kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Duarte Almeida showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raul Resende in the 17th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tiago Assunção during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 18th match minute, Avelar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tiago Assunção to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Raul Resende's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Duarte Almeida was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. In the 22nd minute, Fernando Domingues hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Ruival FC's zone, Vasco Andrade stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Duarte Almeida came out of the goal and Vasco Andrade tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jaime Dias kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Vasco Andrade fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Duarte Almeida having to interfere. Raul Resende fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Duarte Almeida having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Ruival FC's zone, Vasco Andrade stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Duarte Almeida came out of the goal and Vasco Andrade tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Armindo Jesus was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 41 minutes had been played. After 42 played minutes Ruival FC got a freekick which was hit by Armindo Jesus. When Avelar's Raul Resende in the 46th minute got a chance for a shot 46th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ruival FC's goalie prevented a goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Raul Resende was the one to do the kick off. Raul Resende received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Duarte Almeida tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Avelar's Jaime Dias in 57 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Duarte Almeida guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. After 62 played minutes Ruival FC got a freekick which was hit by Alexandre Reis. In the 63rd minute of the match Hugo Marques shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Duarte Almeida showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Lourenço Barbosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Raul Resende came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Avelar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Raul Resende couldn't finish the play. Vasco Andrade took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Duarte Almeida. Duarte Almeida dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. If Lourenço Barbosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jaime Dias hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Raul Resende sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Duarte Almeida showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tiago Assunção, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Duarte Almeida made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raul Resende in the 81st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Ruival FC's Fernando Domingues got a free kick in the 88th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lourenço Barbosa got free with Fábio Campos in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Lourenço Barbosa came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Ruival FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lourenço Barbosa couldn't finish the play. Duarte Almeida showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vasco Andrade in the 95th minute of the match. Ruival FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
