Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Bruno Vale started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 4th minute, Duarte Garcia made a precise shot to the right of Cristóvão Jesus. Tomareis's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 7 minutes into the match, Tomareis's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Dias came free, but Cristóvão Jesus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 14th minute, Carlos Dias left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Marinha fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Manuel Simões showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bruno Vale, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. 0-3 became the score in the 26th minute when Carlos Dias elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 30th minute, Marinha's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Gonçalo Freitas fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. José Domingues hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Duarte Garcia in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cristóvão Jesus saved Tomareis from getting behind. 35 minutes had been played when some careless play by Tomareis's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. David Antunes was slow to take the kick. During this time Marinha's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Marinha's corner David Antunes fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Cristóvão Jesus quite easily take care of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Miguel Coelho during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the game's 45th minute Marinha's David Antunes took a hard shot from long distance, a kick which went into the net just to the right of Cristóvão Jesus and thus the score was 1-4.

52 minutes into the match, Duarte Garcia notched a goal, 1-5, to the right of Tomareis's Cristóvão Jesus. Cristóvão Jesus was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Daniel Tavares during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 58th minute, one of Tomareis:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Tomareis. Simão Delgado might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cristóvão Jesus. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Simão Delgado ran back to his position shaking his head. If Bruno Vale had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tomareis's Daniel Tavares got his second yellow card of the match in the 79th minute. The referee ordered Daniel Tavares off the ground. The supporters of Marinha booed when Tomareis was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Tavares didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Duarte Garcia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Tomareis fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 84th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Marinha a penalty, 86 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by David Antunes, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Tomareis's Cristóvão Jesus. 1-7. In the 89th minute, Miguel Coelho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 99th minute Gonçalo Freitas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuel Simões saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Marinha supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Marinha would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
