Viriato Marques, 4 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Rui Leite fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredo Carvalho having to interfere. The supporters of SC Camba booed when Amieira FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cândido Gomes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alberto Neto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 15 minutes, Rui Leite managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Amieira FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rui Leite was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cândido Gomes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alfredo Carvalho having to make a save. In the 26th minute, Cândido Gomes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Cândido Gomes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Amieira FC's Humberto Moura got a free kick in the 31st minute. An unexpected shot in the 38th minute by Cândido Gomes got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. If Cândido Gomes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alfredo Carvalho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Humberto Moura, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. A collision led to SC Camba getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Alberto Neto hit a great ball. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rui Leite was the one to do the kick off. Fernando Paiva made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Gustavo Coelho sent off a good shot on target. 58 minutes into the match, Amieira FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Neto came free, but Fernando Paiva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cândido Gomes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Alfredo Carvalho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. SC Camba's Alfredo Carvalho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rui Leite in the 63rd minute of play. In the 71st minute, Cândido Gomes made a precise shot to the right of Alfredo Carvalho. SC Camba's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Rui Leite fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredo Carvalho having to interfere. In the 84thth minute of the game Rui Leite who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Camba's Alfredo Carvalho was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 86 minutes into the match, SC Camba's Gustavo Coelho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fernando Paiva narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 89 minutes into the match, Amieira FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Neto came free, but Fernando Paiva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The SC Camba fans' excitement grew in the 93rd match minute when SC Camba's Alberto Neto looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.
