Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Cláudio Cruz started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After 7 minutes Baralde FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mariano Melo who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on SC Taipadas's corner Mariano Melo fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Oliveira Viana quite easily take care of the ball. Oliveira Viana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raul Moura in the 11th minute of play. After 13 minutes, Emanuel Pedroso mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Baralde FC and the SC Taipadas players grew even worse after the yellow card. Emanuel Pedroso hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Raul Moura managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Taipadas's supporters rose to their feet, but Raul Moura was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Oliveira Viana breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Oliveira Viana stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Raul Moura's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. Alberto Coelho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 23 minutes into the game, Pedro Carvalho was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Baralde FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Taipadas the free kick. After 23 played minutes Baralde FC got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Carvalho. Cláudio Cruz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Raul Vale tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 31st match minute, Baralde FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Cabral to maneuver through the defense. Raul Moura recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Alberto Coelho came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the SC Taipadas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alberto Coelho couldn't finish the play. Oliveira Viana stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alberto Coelho's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Raul Moura was the one to do the kick off. Fernando Viegas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Cláudio Cruz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Raul Vale was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. Raul Moura recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Júlio Vale kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cláudio Cruz in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Raul Vale saved SC Taipadas from getting behind. Fernando Viegas scored 1-1 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Raul Vale, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The SC Taipadas players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Baralde FC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
