Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Francisco Leiria took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rd minute Francisco Leiria shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorge Neto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Rendo getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Tomás Baptista hit a great ball. Artur Dantas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Mairos FC booed when Rendo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fernando Dias didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 11th minute of the match Albertino Leal shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jorge Neto showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 13thth minute of the game Artur Dantas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rendo's Jorge Neto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Fernando Dias charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fernando Dias the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. If Francisco Leiria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 20 minutes into the match, Rendo's goal looked a bit too open when Francisco Leiria came free, but Jorge Neto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Francisco Leiria might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jorge Neto. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Francisco Leiria ran back to his position shaking his head. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Artur Dantas in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jorge Neto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jorge Neto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Artur Dantas's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. Artur Dantas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Neto having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Mairos FC's Artur Dantas got a free kick in the 31st minute. Mairos FC's Gaspar Araújo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lúcio Cardoso in the 40th minute of play. In the last second Gaspar Araújo throw himself and got hold of the ball when Lúcio Cardoso in the 40thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Rendo's Jorge Neto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francisco Leiria in the 43rd minute of play. In the 45th minute Lúcio Cardoso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaspar Araújo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Lúcio Cardoso made the kick off in the second half. Jorge Neto didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 53rd minute, which inside left pole to 0-1. If Tomás Baptista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alberto Sá's late challenge caught a Rendo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alberto Sá helped the player get up and apologised. After 66 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Mairos FC! The referee gave Rendo a penalty, 68 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Hélder Vaz, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Mairos FC's Gaspar Araújo. 1-2. Lúcio Cardoso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaspar Araújo having to interfere. 75 minutes into the match, Tomás Baptista notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Mairos FC's Gaspar Araújo. Gaspar Araújo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Albertino Leal kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Rendo's Hélder Vaz got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gaspar Araújo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomás Baptista, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. With a little luck, Rendo's Jorge Neto got control of the ball when Artur Dantas tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mairos FC's Sebastião Cabral got a good chance for a goal in the 98th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
