After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Nuno Simões managed to get in a good position for a shot. Satao's supporters rose to their feet, but Nuno Simões was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Inácio Ferro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. SC Filhagosa's defense didn't have a chance, in the 4th minute, when João Ramos scored to the left of an out of position Inácio Ferro, making the score, 1-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Heitor Matias during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Heitor Matias hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. 9 minutes into the match, Satao's Oliveira Borges broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for SC Filhagosa. The goalkeeper, Inácio Ferro, was totally fooled by Satao's Oliveira Borges, who 47 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.
When Daniel Coimbra came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the SC Filhagosa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Coimbra couldn't finish the play. João Ramos hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Simão Moutinho's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Pedro Pires firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 67th minute, Emanuel Porto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by João Ramos in the 71st minute of play forced SC Filhagosa's goalkeeper Inácio Ferro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 73 minutes into the game, Lúcio Brito was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Filhagosa's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Satao the free kick. João Ramos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Inácio Ferro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Daniel Coimbra received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Pedro Pires came out and tried to block the shot, but Daniel Coimbra slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 83rd minute. Pedro Pires made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Simão Moutinho sent off a good shot on target. Sebastião Faro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 98 minutes into the match, Nuno Simões notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of SC Filhagosa's Inácio Ferro. Inácio Ferro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Satao fans cheered their team off the field, for while SC Filhagosa had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
