Alexandre Garcia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emanuel Barros in the 4th minute of the match. Emanuel Barros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Alexandre Garcia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Salgadinho FC booed when SC Brunheirinho was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Assunção didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 14th minute, Tiago Torres sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and SC Brunheirinho's Alexandre Garcia didn't even have to move. When Artur Luz came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Salgadinho FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Artur Luz couldn't finish the play. When Artur Lima fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Brunheirinho's protests and gave Artur Lima a yellow card for diving instead. Artur Lima kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Salgadinho FC's Tiago Torres couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for SC Brunheirinho. In the 32nd minute Salgadinho FC were awarded a corner. Tiago Torres went to the cornerflag to take it. 34 minutes into the match, SC Brunheirinho's goal looked a bit too open when Emanuel Barros came free, but Alexandre Garcia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alexandre Garcia made an important save on a dangerous shot by Artur Luz in the 35th minute. If Jorge Pinheiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. André Azevedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorge Pinheiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vasco Freitas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Alexandre Garcia made a huge save. 48 minutes into the match, SC Brunheirinho's Filipe Simões sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that André Azevedo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jorge Pinheiro to make the kick off. Alexandre Garcia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emanuel Barros in the 53rd minute of play. Salgadinho FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Jorge Pinheiro 59 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-1. SC Brunheirinho's Alexandre Garcia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Artur Luz in the 65th minute of play. Álvaro Assunção's late challenge caught a Salgadinho FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Álvaro Assunção helped the player get up and apologised. In the 66th match minute, SC Brunheirinho was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Álvaro Assunção to maneuver through the defense. Salgadinho FC's Emanuel Barros got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alexandre Garcia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Artur Luz in the 72nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Salgadinho FC's Tiago Baptista got a free kick in the 76th minute. In the 80th minute, Amadeu Dias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Júlio Carvalho didn't quite understand what happened when in the 81 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. 85 minutes into the game, Emanuel Barros cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Alexandre Garcia was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Tiago Baptista received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute.
