In the 11th minute, Diamantino Almeida hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fábio Rocha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Alexandre Garcia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Antanhol FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Lucas Guarda in the 53rd minute. If Cristiano Cunha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 62 minutes, Filipe Simões managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Brunheirinho's supporters crossed their fingers, but Filipe Simões was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alexandre Garcia stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cristiano Cunha's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. Daniel Gonçalves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorge Pinheiro in the 66th minute of the match. Daniel Gonçalves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filipe Simões, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. The audience was convinced that Jorge Pinheiro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Daniel Gonçalves was relentless in the 74th minute of the game. In the 92nd minute, Cristiano Cunha got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fábio Rocha's late challenge caught a SC Brunheirinho's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fábio Rocha helped the player get up and apologised. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The SC Brunheirinho fans cheered their team off the field, for while Antanhol FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
