Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) 4 minutes into the game, Humberto Moniz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Manuel Martins was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in Formoselha FC's zone, Humberto Moniz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Manuel Martins came out of the goal and Humberto Moniz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 13th minute, Joaquim Amaral hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 15th match minute, Palorca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexandre Magalhães to maneuver through the defense. António Torres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 19th minute of the match, Armindo Torres tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Cândido Valente saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, António Torres managed to get in a good position for a shot. Formoselha FC's supporters rose to their feet, but António Torres was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cândido Valente breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Palorca getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Alexandre Magalhães hit a great ball. Cândido Valente took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Armindo Torres, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Formoselha FC's António Torres slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Cândido Valente. That made the score 1-1 after 29 minutes of play. Alexandre Magalhães sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In a very dangerous position, a player in Formoselha FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 39th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Palorca a penalty, 41 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Mário Antunes, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Formoselha FC's Manuel Martins. 1-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Humberto Moniz was the one to do the kick off. If António Torres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vasco Barbosa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Armindo Torres in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cândido Valente saved Palorca from getting behind. The referee felt a red card was in order, 62 minutes into the game, when Carlos Figueiredo put in a rough tackle. 62 minutes into the game, one of Palorca:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 64th minute there was a penalty for Formoselha FC. José Leiria stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Cândido Valente. 2-2. Palorca's Cândido Valente played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Armindo Torres in the 68th minute of play. 71 minutes into the match, Vasco Barbosa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Manuel Martins. Formoselha FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vasco Barbosa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. Joaquim Amaral hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Armindo Torres received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Cândido Valente tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vasco Barbosa in the 85thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Manuel Martins, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 92 minutes into the game, Joaquim Amaral was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Palorca's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Formoselha FC the free kick. The supporters of Formoselha FC booed when Palorca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joaquim Amaral didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cândido Valente came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Formoselha FC's António Torres. But to his dismay, António Torres quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-3. In the 99th minute, Joaquim Amaral got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Palorca players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Formoselha FC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
