Augusto Porto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomás Valente, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vítor Aleixo in the 10th minute of play forced Zebral's goalkeeper Augusto Porto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 12 minutes, Miguel Brito managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zebral's supporters crossed their fingers, but Miguel Brito was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 17th minute Vítor Aleixo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Augusto Porto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 19 minutes into the match, Zebral's goal looked a bit too open when Tomás Valente came free, but Augusto Porto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Lemenhe FC booed when Zebral was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sérgio Guarda didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lemenhe FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 29th minute, when Ricardo Pereira scored to the left of an out of position Delfim Faria, making the score, 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Lemenhe FC's zone, Miguel Brito stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Delfim Faria came out of the goal and Miguel Brito tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Miguel Brito got free with Delfim Faria in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Miguel Brito recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vítor Aleixo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Augusto Porto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vítor Aleixo in the 47th minute of the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ricardo Pereira made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Zebral's zone, Vítor Aleixo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Augusto Porto came out of the goal and Vítor Aleixo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Ricardo Pereira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Fábio Barbosa fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lemenhe FC's protests and gave Fábio Barbosa a yellow card for diving instead. Fábio Barbosa hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Zebral's Augusto Porto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Zebral from getting a goal against them. Lourenço Amorim kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. In the 79th minute, Abel Almeida hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Ricardo Pereira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Delfim Faria showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miguel Brito, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Delfim Faria showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ricardo Pereira in the 87th minute of the match. After having played for 89 minutes, Ricardo Pereira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zebral's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ricardo Pereira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lemenhe FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
