SC Requeixo's Alexandre Matos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João Morais in the 12th minute of play. 15 minutes into the match, Nagosela FC's goal looked a bit too open when Hélder Neto came free, but Alexandre Mendes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 19 played minutes SC Requeixo got a freekick which was hit by Luís Porto. Hélder Neto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. In the 63rdth minute of the game Rui Azevedo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Requeixo's Alexandre Matos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rui Azevedo in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alexandre Matos saved SC Requeixo from getting behind. When António Setúbal came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Nagosela FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that António Setúbal couldn't finish the play. João Morais's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alexandre Matos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. Rui Azevedo struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Alexandre Matos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nagosela FC. Alexandre Matos made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when João Morais sent off a good shot on target. Alexandre Matos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rui Azevedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Nagosela FC players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
