An unexpectedly hard shot by Sandro Vaz in the 21st minute of play forced Covais FC's goalkeeper Rui Matias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Júlio Pedroso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Gaspar Guerreiro made a huge save. Gaspar Guerreiro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Júlio Pedroso in the 33rd minute. After having played for 64 minutes, Júlio Pedroso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Covais FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Júlio Pedroso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sandro Vaz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Rui Matias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Covais FC's Nuno Leal got a free kick in the 69th minute. Sandro Vaz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rui Matias having to make a save. In the 84thth minute of the game Sandro Vaz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Covais FC's Rui Matias was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Pedrogueira FC's Pedro Pinho got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pedro Pinho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Júlio Pedroso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Delfim Maia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Pedrogueira FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
