Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) SC Costa's Paulo Andrade started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Paulo Andrade managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Costa's supporters rose to their feet, but Paulo Andrade was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bruno Carneiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francisco Fonseca in the 10th minute of play forced SC Costa's goalkeeper António Santos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rui Moniz's late challenge caught a Alvarim's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rui Moniz helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to SC Costa getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Rui Moniz hit a great ball. Hugo Paiva was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 28th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Eusébio Vaz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruno Carneiro having to interfere. Francisco Fonseca recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The wind increased when Francisco Fonseca made the kick off in the second half. If Basílio Martins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eusébio Vaz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruno Carneiro having to interfere. Carlos Gonçalves's late challenge caught a SC Costa's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Carlos Gonçalves helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Alvarim's Carlos Gonçalves got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Bruno Carneiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulo Andrade in the 63rd minute of the match. In the 66th minute Basílio Martins shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but António Santos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eusébio Vaz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Bruno Carneiro made a huge save. After 82 played minutes Alvarim got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Gonçalves. After having played for 83 minutes, Paulo Andrade managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Costa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paulo Andrade was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 91 minutes into the game, Alexandre Nogueira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Alvarim's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Costa the free kick. After a rather tough play, Alvarim's Alexandre Nogueira got a free kick in the 91st minute. When Ricardo Dias fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Costa's protests and gave Ricardo Dias a yellow card for diving instead. Ricardo Dias kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Alvarim's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Hugo Paiva in the 97th minute. The corner led Alvarim's Hugo Paiva to fire away a dangerous shot which António Santos despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball.
