Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Armando Mendes took the kick off in the first half of the match. When Rafael Ramos fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Malpartida's protests and gave Rafael Ramos a yellow card for diving instead. After 7 played minutes Malpartida got a freekick which was hit by Rafael Ramos. If Armando Mendes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Mário Gueifão took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Carlos Queirós. Carlos Queirós dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Carlos Queirós was a little too slow when Armando Mendes got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 17th minute. The score was now 2-0. After having played for 22 minutes, Bruno Miranda managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Calicas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bruno Miranda was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Américo Amaro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marco Reis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Armando Mendes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Malpartida's supporters rose to their feet, but Armando Mendes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carlos Queirós breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mário Gueifão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marco Reis took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Américo Amaro. Américo Amaro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Malpartida's Américo Amaro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bruno Miranda in the 41st minute of play. In the 43rd minute, José Baptista hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, SC Calicas's Rogério Rodrigues tried to score from far away in the 44th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marco Reis in the 46th minute of play forced Malpartida's goalkeeper Américo Amaro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 47 minutes into the match, Malpartida's goal looked a bit too open when Marco Reis came free, but Américo Amaro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bruno Miranda to make the kick off. Rogério Rodrigues charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rogério Rodrigues the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 51st minute, one of SC Calicas:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for SC Calicas. After 57 played minutes Malpartida got a freekick which was hit by Armando Mendes. Marco Reis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Américo Amaro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Armando Mendes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bruno Miranda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Américo Amaro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marco Reis in the 68th minute. In the 70th minute, Joaquim Ferreira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. José Ramos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mário Gueifão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Carlos Queirós tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. José Ramos hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Bruno Miranda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 89th minute, Mário Gueifão left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Malpartida fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. In the 92nd minute, Joaquim Ferreira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Malpartida fans cheered their team off the field, for while SC Calicas had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
