The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Amadeu Paiva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from André Guerreiro in the 5th minute of the match. Gonçalo Carneiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Figueiredo in the 6th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Figueiredo in the 8th minute of play forced Felizes FC's goalkeeper Gonçalo Carneiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Amadeu Paiva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from André Guerreiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With his leg Amadeu Paiva managed to avoid a goal in the 12thth minute, when Felizes FC's André Barbosa fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. André Barbosa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 16 minutes into the game, André Guerreiro lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Amadeu Paiva. André Barbosa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Amadeu Paiva made a huge save. If Carlos Coimbra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gonçalo Carneiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Coimbra in the 25th minute of play. Felizes FC's Gonçalo Carneiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Figueiredo in the 29th minute of play. If Carlos Coimbra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 33rd match minute, Felizes FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Artur Cabral to maneuver through the defense. Carlos Coimbra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 37th minute, Artur Cabral hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 37th minute of the match Jorge Barros shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gonçalo Carneiro showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Carlos Coimbra made a kick off. In the 51st minute, one of Mata FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Mata FC. André Guerreiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Felizes FC's Gonçalo Carneiro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Felizes FC from getting a goal against them. If Carlos Coimbra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carlos Coimbra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gonçalo Carneiro having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by André Guerreiro in the 65th minute of play forced Mata FC's goalkeeper Amadeu Paiva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If André Barbosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Amadeu Paiva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Artur Cabral, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mariano Figueiredo scored 2-1 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gonçalo Carneiro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 83rd minute, André Guerreiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If André Barbosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 90 played minutes Mata FC got a freekick which was hit by Alexandre Soares. Felizes FC's André Barbosa got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Felizes FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
