Carlos Andrade started the match with the kick off. Carlos Andrade sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Coroadinhas FC booed when Abades was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. João Lopes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Carlos Andrade received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. António Ramos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Abades's António Ramos got control of the ball when Amílcar Ferro tried to sneak it across the goal line. Luís Mendes's late challenge caught a Coroadinhas FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luís Mendes helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Abades getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Luís Mendes hit a great ball. Vicente Barbosa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Filipe Magalhães read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. After 17 minutes of play, Abades's Adelino Brito made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Filipe Magalhães was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Amílcar Ferro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Coroadinhas FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Amílcar Ferro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. António Ramos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Coroadinhas FC's Carlos Andrade got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Coroadinhas FC's Amílcar Ferro got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 27th minute, Oliveira Rodrigues hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Abades's Fernando Viana got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Carlos Andrade blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without António Ramos having to make a save. When Amílcar Ferro came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Coroadinhas FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amílcar Ferro couldn't finish the play. In the 45th minute, Coroadinhas FC's Carlos Andrade ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind António Ramos. António Ramos yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vicente Barbosa to make the kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Amílcar Ferro notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Abades's António Ramos. António Ramos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Abades booed when Coroadinhas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eduardo Silva didn't get a good kick on the ball. 63 minutes into the game, Fernando Viana was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Abades's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Coroadinhas FC the free kick. A collision led to Abades getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Fernando Viana hit a great ball. After having played for 65 minutes, Carlos Andrade managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Coroadinhas FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carlos Andrade was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bento Brito during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 66th match minute, Abades was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bento Brito to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Abades's João Lopes got a free kick in the 68th minute. Amílcar Ferro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without António Ramos having to interfere. When the match clock showed 86 minutes, the score became 4-1 when Carlos Andrade sped through Abades's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of António Ramos. 91 minutes into the match, Abades's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Andrade came free, but António Ramos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Amílcar Ferro came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Coroadinhas FC fans jumped to their feet.
