Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Vicente Barbosa took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 5th minute of the match Fernando Pinheiro shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but António Ramos showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. António Ramos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emílio Monteiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Emílio Monteiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. António Ramos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. António Ramos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernando Leal in the 12th minute of play. Adelino Brito received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Cláudio Matias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fernando Viana kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Fernando Leal took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised António Ramos. António Ramos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Abades's António Ramos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emílio Monteiro in the 27th minute of play. Emílio Monteiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Montelavar's Fernando Leal got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vicente Barbosa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 47 minutes into the game, one of Montelavar:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
The wind increased when Emílio Monteiro made the kick off in the second half. If Vicente Barbosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 57 minutes into the match, Montelavar's goal looked a bit too open when Adelino Brito came free, but Cláudio Matias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 57th match minute, Montelavar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Pires to maneuver through the defense. In the 65th minute, Vicente Barbosa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fernando Viana hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Cláudio Matias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adelino Brito, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Adelino Brito in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cláudio Matias prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Vicente Barbosa came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Abades fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vicente Barbosa couldn't finish the play. Vicente Barbosa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cláudio Matias having to interfere. António Ramos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emílio Monteiro in the 93rd minute of play. Fernando Leal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. António Ramos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Emílio Monteiro was extremely unlucky when he, in the 97th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. For all the effort they put into the match, the Montelavar players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Abades.
