Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. David Pinto started the match with the kick off. If Duarte Pinto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. SC Pitaranha's Daniel Baptista played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Duarte Pinto in the 6th minute of play. Duarte Pinto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Baptista having to interfere. Aricera FC's Gaspar Baptista proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Aricera FC from getting a goal against them. David Pinto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Gaspar Baptista tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aricera FC's Oliveira Fontes got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to SC Pitaranha getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Alberto Moreira hit a great ball. In the 34th minute, SC Pitaranha's David Pinto dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. David Pinto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gaspar Baptista read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. Daniel Baptista didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Duarte Pinto went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Duarte Pinto to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, SC Pitaranha's goalkeeper Daniel Baptista had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Oliveira Fontes. Fábio Faro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Gaspar Baptista tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Duarte Pinto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Daniel Baptista read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. Daniel Baptista made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Oliveira Fontes sent off a good shot on target. 69 minutes into the match, Aricera FC's Duarte Pinto sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Daniel Baptista narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Duarte Pinto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Baptista having to interfere. After 78 played minutes SC Pitaranha got a freekick which was hit by Rui Fontes. If Fábio Faro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Filipe Domingues hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. In the 89th minute, Alberto Moreira made a precise shot to the right of Gaspar Baptista. Aricera FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Aricera FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
