Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Joel Veiga kicked off to start the match. In the 7th minute of the match, Fábio Faro got a very nice opportunity to score, but Oliveira Borba was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Daniel Baptista made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristóvão Guarda in the 9th minute of play. When SC Pitaranha's David Pinto in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Marinhais FC's goalie prevented a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Marinhais FC's zone, David Pinto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Oliveira Borba came out of the goal and David Pinto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Oliveira Borba stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of David Pinto's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling David Pinto in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Oliveira Borba prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fábio Faro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Oliveira Borba tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Marinhais FC getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Álvaro Freitas hit a great ball. David Pinto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If David Pinto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 40th minute, Cristóvão Guarda made a precise shot to the right of Daniel Baptista. SC Pitaranha's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Pitaranha's goalkeeper Daniel Baptista, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cristóvão Guarda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Baptista having to interfere. Daniel Baptista stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Joel Veiga's shot from short distance in the 47th minute.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and David Pinto made a kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Marinhais FC's Joel Veiga sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Daniel Baptista narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Oliveira Borba showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Pinto in the 52nd minute of the match. Oliveira Borba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fábio Faro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daniel Baptista took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Veiga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fábio Faro might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Oliveira Borba. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Through an outstanding action, after 74 minutes, Daniel Baptista successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. A hard shot 74 in the game by Cristóvão Guarda from a close distance when the talented Daniel Baptista managed to make a qualified save. SC Pitaranha's players were relieved. Joel Veiga struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Daniel Baptista didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Marinhais FC. Oliveira Borba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Pinto in the 81st minute of play. Eduardo Domingues's late challenge caught a SC Pitaranha's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eduardo Domingues helped the player get up and apologised. Eduardo Domingues hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Marinhais FC's Oliveira Borba played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fábio Faro in the 86th minute of play. Daniel Baptista showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Veiga in the 95th minute of the match. In the 97th minute, David Pinto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Marinhais FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Marinhais FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
