A collision led to Vascoveiro FC getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Afonso Gueifão hit a great ball. 5 minutes into the match, SC Goldra's Hélder Freitas broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. If Júlio Amaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. António Andrade received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Viriato Monteiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 13th minute of the game. One of SC Goldra:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Vascoveiro FC:s goal. Armindo Coelho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 27 minutes, Mário Maia mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vascoveiro FC and the SC Goldra players grew even worse after the yellow card. Mário Maia kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Viriato Monteiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Júlio Amaro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling António Andrade in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Viriato Monteiro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 38th minute, José Vale hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Vascoveiro FC's zone, Armindo Coelho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Júlio Carneiro came out of the goal and Armindo Coelho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Álvaro Jesus managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Goldra's supporters rose to their feet, but Álvaro Jesus was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Júlio Carneiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

The wind increased when Armindo Coelho made the kick off in the second half. Júlio Carneiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Armindo Coelho in the 54th minute of the match. 59 minutes into the game, Tomás Marques was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vascoveiro FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Goldra the free kick. 58 minutes into the game, one of Vascoveiro FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Armindo Coelho struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Júlio Carneiro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Goldra. SC Goldra's Viriato Monteiro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save SC Goldra from getting a goal against them. António Andrade's late challenge caught a SC Goldra's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. António Andrade helped the player get up and apologised. António Andrade kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. An unexpected shot in the 95th minute by Júlio Amaro got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 97th minute, Cristiano Antunes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. SC Goldra were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Vascoveiro FC for a fine match.
