Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Marco Porto made the kick off which started today's match. When Marco Porto fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Alcaria's protests and gave Marco Porto a yellow card for diving instead. Adolfo Viegas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Barbosa having to interfere. Joaquim Teixeira made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Nuno Fernandes sent off a good shot on target. In the 8th match minute, Mendes FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diamantino Assis to maneuver through the defense. If André Fonseca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adolfo Viegas in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg José Barbosa saved SC Alcaria from getting behind. After 16 minutes, Sérgio Paredes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Alcaria and the Mendes FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Sérgio Paredes kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Adolfo Viegas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. André Fonseca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Adolfo Viegas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Barbosa having to interfere. Marco Porto struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Joaquim Teixeira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Alcaria. After 35 minutes, Alberto Pedroso mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Alcaria and the Mendes FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Adolfo Viegas made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Mendes FC getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. David Vieira hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, SC Alcaria's Alberto Pedroso got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Nuno Fernandes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marco Porto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Alberto Pedroso was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 59 minutes had been played. After 59 played minutes SC Alcaria got a freekick which was hit by Alberto Pedroso. Emílio Vale took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 60th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for José Barbosa. SC Alcaria's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Nuno Fernandes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Mendes FC getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Diamantino Assis hit a great ball. When SC Alcaria's Nuno Fernandes in the 67th minute got a chance for a shot 67th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mendes FC's goalie prevented a goal. Bruno Lima sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joaquim Teixeira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nuno Fernandes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mendes FC's André Fonseca got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Adolfo Viegas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. José Barbosa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Mendes FC booed when SC Alcaria was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sérgio Paredes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Emílio Vale was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 85th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Adolfo Viegas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Barbosa having to interfere. José Barbosa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adolfo Viegas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
