Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Alexandre Faria started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute of the match, Alfredo Santos got a very nice opportunity to score, but Armando Cunha was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Filipe Pinho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Armando Cunha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filipe Pinho in the 10th minute of play forced Amoreira's goalkeeper Armando Cunha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Novais FC getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Lúcio Pinto hit a great ball. In the 13th minute Alexandre Faria shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but António Vieira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Alexandre Faria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 25 minutes, Augusto Baptista managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Amoreira's supporters crossed their fingers, but Augusto Baptista was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lúcio Pinto hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Armando Cunha made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Alfredo Santos sent off a good shot on target. 34 minutes into the match, Amoreira's goal looked a bit too open when Filipe Pinho came free, but Armando Cunha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carlos Barros kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Alfredo Santos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice moves Alfredo Santos could shoot a difficult shot in the 41st minute, which Armando Cunha however easily saved by the left post. If Augusto Baptista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Alexandre Faria's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but António Vieira was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. António Vieira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexandre Faria, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. After having played for 47 minutes, Alexandre Faria managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Amoreira's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alexandre Faria was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Filipe Pinho to make the kick off. When Alfredo Santos came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Novais FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alfredo Santos couldn't finish the play. Alfredo Santos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Armando Cunha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Amoreira's Alexandre Faria got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 64 minutes into the match, Alfredo Santos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Armando Cunha. Amoreira's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alfredo Santos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. If Alfredo Santos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 84 minutes, Alexandre Faria took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for António Vieira to make any attempt to save it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Catarino Guerreiro during the 89th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 89th match minute, Amoreira was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Catarino Guerreiro to maneuver through the defense. When Filipe Pinho came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Novais FC fans jumped to their feet. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Alfredo Santos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Novais FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Alfredo Santos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Armando Cunha breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Novais FC were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Amoreira to leave the ground with a draw.
