Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Amílcar Rodrigues got the match started through his kick off. In the 2nd match minute, Ovar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Afonso Barbosa to maneuver through the defense. Alfredo Borba fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hélder Santos having to interfere. Amílcar Rodrigues charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Amílcar Rodrigues the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to SC Renhadouro getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Amílcar Rodrigues hit a great ball. SC Renhadouro's Amílcar Rodrigues got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in SC Renhadouro's zone, Jaime Barros stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Xavier Domingues came out of the goal and Jaime Barros tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Jaime Barros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 28 minutes into the match, Ovar's goal looked a bit too open when Amílcar Rodrigues came free, but Hélder Santos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nuno Gueifão recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Armando Cunha during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Armando Cunha hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Jaime Barros struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Xavier Domingues didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ovar. In the 33rd match minute, SC Renhadouro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sandro Moutinho to maneuver through the defense. 36 minutes into the game, Ovar's Nuno Gueifão nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Xavier Domingues made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Amílcar Rodrigues blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hélder Santos having to make a save. In the 45th minute, Jaime Barros got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

In the 55th minute Ovar were awarded a corner. Fernando Domingues went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Fernando Domingues got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Xavier Domingues quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. SC Renhadouro's Xavier Domingues played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nuno Gueifão in the 56th minute of play. SC Renhadouro's Armando Cunha got his second yellow card of the match in the 57th minute. The referee ordered Armando Cunha off the ground. A collision led to SC Renhadouro getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Armando Cunha hit a great ball. Xavier Domingues made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nuno Gueifão in the 59th minute of play. Nuno Gueifão took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Xavier Domingues. Xavier Domingues dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 63rd minute, Nuno Gueifão got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jaime Barros let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 64th minute shot 0-3 at rihgt post. Adolfo Tavares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alfredo Borba sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jaime Barros took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Xavier Domingues. Xavier Domingues dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Alfredo Borba received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Hélder Santos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Ovar supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Ovar would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
