In the 7th minute, Artur Veiga ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cristiano Paredes was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Cristiano Paredes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Artur Veiga in the 13th minute of play. In the 17th minute Artur Veiga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristiano Paredes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Artur Veiga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristiano Paredes having to interfere. If Diamantino Brás had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Sabugosa FC's Nuno Moniz got control of the ball when Cândido Fontes tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cristiano Paredes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lúcio Coelho, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Cristiano Paredes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Gomes in the 30th minute of the match. Cândido Fontess short, quick shot in the 35thth minute got Nuno Moniz to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Carlos Gomes was the one to do the kick off. Pedralva's Cristiano Paredes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Gomes in the 55th minute of play. In the 57th minute, Carlos Reis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sabugosa FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Artur Veiga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 65 minutes of play, Pedralva's Cândido Fontes made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nuno Moniz was left in no man's land by his defense there! David Dantas kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Artur Veiga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Cristiano Paredes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 76 minutes, Diamantino Brás managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pedralva's supporters crossed their fingers, but Diamantino Brás was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nuno Moniz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cândido Fontes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 82 minutes, Carlos Reis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sabugosa FC and the Pedralva players grew even worse after the yellow card. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 87 minutes into the match, Pedralva's Cândido Fontes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nuno Moniz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Cristiano Paredes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Gomes in the 90th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Pedralva's Cristiano Pedroso got a free kick in the 91st minute. Cristiano Paredes was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Carlos Viana. When the match had gone on for 95 minutes, Artur Veiga took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Cristiano Paredes to make any attempt to save it. The Pedralva supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Sabugosa FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Sabugosa FC.
