Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Paulo Guarda started the match with the kick off. After 9 played minutes, SC Cabecudo's José Monteiro shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Rafael Moura came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in SC Cabecudo reached it. 10 minutes into the match, Gravanco FC's goal looked a bit too open when Paulo Guarda came free, but Rafael Moura reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. João Ribeiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manuel Lisboa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. João Ribeiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manuel Lisboa in the 28th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Manuel Lisboa in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck João Ribeiro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vítor Jesus in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg João Ribeiro saved SC Cabecudo from getting behind. If Vítor Jesus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 43 played minutes SC Cabecudo got a freekick which was hit by Delfim Baptista. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Vítor Jesus managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gravanco FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Vítor Jesus was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. João Ribeiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Gravanco FC's Manuel Lisboa in the 46th minute got a chance for a shot 46th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SC Cabecudo's goalie prevented a goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Manuel Lisboa to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulo Guarda in the 52nd minute of play forced Gravanco FC's goalkeeper Rafael Moura to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. SC Cabecudo's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Manuel Lisboa 59 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-1. Vítor Jesus's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but João Ribeiro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. If Paulo Guarda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. SC Cabecudo's João Ribeiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manuel Lisboa in the 83rd minute of play. In the 85th minute, Simão Vaz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Gravanco FC's Armando Torres tried to score from far away in the 86th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Manuel Lisboa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Lúcio Rodrigues had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Gravanco FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
