Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) 7 minutes into the match, SC Cabecudo's goal looked a bit too open when Afonso Monteiro came free, but João Ribeiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulo Guarda in the 10th minute of play forced Azueira FC's goalkeeper André Coelho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Simão Vaz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. SC Cabecudo's João Ribeiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Afonso Monteiro in the 15th minute of play. The supporters of Azueira FC booed when SC Cabecudo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Delfim Baptista didn't get a good kick on the ball. António Bessa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. João Ribeiro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Miguel Esteves in the 30th minute. A collision led to SC Cabecudo getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Delfim Baptista hit a great ball. Azueira FC's André Coelho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lúcio Rodrigues in the 34th minute of play. 36 minutes into the match, Azueira FC's goal looked a bit too open when Paulo Guarda came free, but André Coelho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Simão Vaz came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the SC Cabecudo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Simão Vaz couldn't finish the play. Lúcio Rodrigues might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over André Coelho. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lúcio Rodrigues ran back to his position shaking his head. André Coelho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulo Guarda, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. When Afonso Monteiro came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Azueira FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Afonso Monteiro couldn't finish the play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Afonso Monteiro made a kick off. After some careless play in the SC Cabecudo defense, António Bessa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of João Ribeiro. The SC Cabecudo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that João Ribeiro should have stopped the shot. João Ribeiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Afonso Monteiro in the 57th minute of play. If Lúcio Rodrigues had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paulo Guarda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without André Coelho having to interfere. Delfim Baptista hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Xavier Magalhães kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. André Coelho made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lúcio Rodrigues in the 82nd minute. When Lúcio Rodrigues came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the SC Cabecudo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lúcio Rodrigues couldn't finish the play. After 87 minutes of play, SC Cabecudo's Lúcio Rodrigues made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. André Coelho was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 92nd minute, Lúcio Rodrigues left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SC Cabecudo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2.
